In the Kostanay region, residents should prepare for snow, snowstorms, icy roads, and fog. West Kazakhstan and Aktobe are expected to see rain and snow mixed, accompanied by snowstorms and ice slick conditions, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Severe winter weather is also forecast for Akmola and Karaganda regions, where snow, snowstorms, ground blizzards, fog, and strong winds may disrupt travel.

Meanwhile, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, and Zhetysu regions will experience fog and slippery roads, while Mangistau is set to face persistent fog throughout the day.

Snowy and hazardous conditions will grip Zhambyl, Ulytau, East Kazakhstan, and Abai regions, with ground blizzards and icy surfaces expected. In the south, Almaty and Turkistan regions are likely to wake up to foggy streets, reducing visibility for morning commuters.
