Tokayev Expresses Strong Solidarity and Support for the People of Qatar

Kazakshtan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with the Amir of the State of Qatar.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed full solidarity and support for the people of Qatar in this difficult situation, The Caspian Post reports citing Kazinform.

The President noted the political wisdom of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, thanks to which tensions were significantly reduced. Under his strong leadership, Qatar plays a special role in addressing the region's most complex issues.

The heads of state agreed to continue contacts at the highest level, including within the Amir's upcoming visit to Kazakhstan.
