As part of his official visit to Türkiye, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a strategic meeting with Hüseyin Arslan, CEO of Turkish investment and construction giant YDA Holding, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
During the meeting, President Tokayev was briefed on the company’s active portfolio in Kazakhstan, including major public-private partnership projects involving the construction and operation of multifunctional hospitals in the cities of Turkistan, Astana, and Petropavlovsk.
Looking forward, YDA Holding announced its plans to expand operations by developing a multi-sectoral production base within the YDA Industrial Park, launching a new sandwich panel manufacturing facility in Astana, and establishing a multimodal transit and logistics hub in the port city of Aktau.
President Tokayev welcomed the holding’s strategic engagement and long-term commitment to Kazakhstan’s development, noting that such investments contribute significantly to bilateral economic growth and regional cooperation.

Upon his arrival at Ankara’s Esenboğa Airport, President Tokayev was greeted with full honors by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, including a Guard of Honor ceremony. The two leaders exchanged a brief but cordial conversation at the airport.
President Tokayev then began his official program with a symbolic visit to the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the modern Turkish Republic.
Later, President Tokayev and President Erdoğan are set to hold high-level talks focusing on strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between their nations. The leaders will also co-chair the fifth meeting of the Kazakhstan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), which is expected to outline new areas of bilateral collaboration in trade, investment, transport, and infrastructure.
