A delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Zhandos Duysembiev, Chairman of the Committee of State Revenues at the Ministry of Finance, has visited the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan to boost bilateral cooperation in tax administration and digital transformation.
During the visit, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to developing practical collaboration and advancing the digitalization of tax systems, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Duysembiev and his Uzbek counterpart, Sherzod Kudbiyev, emphasized the importance of sharing best practices and strengthening cooperation in taxation and information technology.
The Kazakh delegation was introduced to the Uzbek Tax Committee’s Data Processing Center, showcasing key digital solutions, including e-invoices, online cash registers, risk analysis systems, and automated reporting tools.
Both countries highlighted the similarities in their approaches to digital tax processes and expressed readiness to exchange expertise, implement best practices, and explore potential technical integration of IT solutions.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to hold regular bilateral consultations on issues of mutual interest, signaling a new chapter in Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan tax collaboration.
