Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan Launch Joint Business Council

Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) and Kyrgyzstan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a memorandum to establish the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Business Council.

The agreement was finalized during a meeting between AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev and Vice-President of Kyrgyzstan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Avazbek Kerimbaev, The Caspian Post reports via AZPROMO.

The sides discussed current and prospective economic and trade relations, expanding export-import operations, attracting mutual investments, increasing bilateral trade turnover, and the importance of regular business missions.

Kyrgyzstan highlighted that a hotel on the shores of Issyk-Kul, developed with an Azerbaijani company, is nearing completion, with its opening scheduled for May 2026. Plans include holding a Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Business Forum during the launch.
