The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange has facilitated its first contract for the supply of meat products to Kyrgyzstan, with a company from the Minsk region completing the transaction through the platform.
Experts highlight that Belarusian meat exports are expanding geographically, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
Currently, six countries purchase meat products via the exchange, with Russia, Uzbekistan, and China accounting for the largest shipments.
Sales profits from meat products in the first half of 2025 have surged 11 times compared to the same period in 2024. Frozen beef semi-finished products remain the most sought-after items.
In addition, nearly 40 Kyrgyzstan-based participants are active on the Belarusian financial platform. From January to July 2025, they conducted $5.5 million in transactions, primarily purchasing powdered milk and butter.
