Belarus Resumes Minsk–Turkmenbashi Route

Belavia Airlines (Belarussian Airlines) has announced the resumption of direct flights from Minsk to Turkmenbashi.

The last flight to Balkanabat - where flights were temporarily rerouted - is scheduled for August 9, The Caspian Post reports per Turkmen media.

Starting August 11, aircraft will once again arrive directly in Turkmenbashi.

Tickets for the August 11 flight to Turkmenbashi are now available for purchase on the airline’s official website.

To recall, since May 20, flights had been operated to Balkanabat - the administrative center of Balkan Province, Turkmenistan, located about 155 kilometers from Turkmenbashi.
