A security alert caused the evacuation of people at a shopping center in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, after reports of a possible explosive device.

The incident occurred at the “Eurasia” shopping center, where a bomb threat was reportedly communicated to a security guard, who then alerted police, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Police officers quickly evacuated visitors from the building and established a security perimeter around the area as precautionary measures.

Law enforcement officers are currently checking the premises to verify the credibility of the threat.

No injuries have been reported so far, and the situation remains under control as security operations continue.
