EDB Predicts Robust Economic Growth for Kyrgyzstan

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts that Kyrgyzstan’s GDP will rise by 10.3% by the end of 2025, according to its latest macroeconomic review.

The data indicate that the Kyrgyz economy continues to sustain high growth rates, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar.

Analysts noted that strong consumption remains a key driver, supported by increased lending in the banking sector. From January to October 2025, lending by financial institutions grew by 52%, roughly half the increase recorded during the same period in 2024.

The EDB highlighted that retail sales grew by 11.8% and investments increased by 19.9%, reflecting continued strong momentum in both consumer and investment demand.
