Police officers in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, have detained two foreign students following a fight at a local university.
The police monitoring social media identified a video showing a conflict between foreign nationals at a university located on Isakeeva Street, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The incident has been officially registered in the district police records, and a preliminary investigation has begun.
The students were identified by the Special Patrol and Enforcement Unit of the district police as:
M.A., born in 2001
A.A., born in 2003
Both have been detained under Article 126 (Petty hooliganism) of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Code of Offenses and are currently held in the temporary detention facility of the district police.
