A fire has broken out at a market in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Preliminary information indicates that the blaze affected an area of about 500 square meters, originating in one of the containers within the trading complex. No casualties have been reported so far, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are still being investigated.
Eight firefighting units, a command team, and an operational group were dispatched to extinguish the fire.
