Kyrgyzstan increased the export of honey to Kuwait by 2.5 times in January-February 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee, The Caspian Post reports citing the AkiPress.
The country exported 20.1 tons of honey worth $43,400 to Kuwait in two months.
Compared to 2024, exports increased by almost 2.5 times. 7.9 tons worth $26,700 were exported last year.
In addition to Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan exported 15.1 tons of honey to Uzbekistan, 15 tons to China, 6.4 tons to the UAE, 5.2 tons to Qatar, 3.1 tons to Bahrain, 0.5 tons to Albania, 0.4 tons to Japan, 02. tons to Azerbaijan, 0.1 tons to Kazakhstan, 0.1 tons to Saudi Arabia and 1.8 tons to other countries.
