A Kyrgyz delegation led by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, has visited the Absheron Trade Center as part of their trip to Azerbaijan for the sixth Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation.
The delegation, which included over 15 senior officials, explored the center’s infrastructure and conditions supporting small and medium-sized businesses, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani ambassadors, co-chairs of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund, and heads of major companies and foundations also visited the trade center.
Elnur Osmanov, a member of Absheron Mall’s supervisory board, presented the center’s concept, infrastructure, and business opportunities. Spanning around 300 hectares with over 1,500 shops, the mall competes with major retail complexes in Europe and the Middle East.
The delegation toured the site and met with entrepreneurs, learning about the business environment and incentives available for investors.
