Kyrgyz President Extends Official Visit Invitation To South Korea’s Leader

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung have had a phone conversation this week, discussing a broad range of bilateral issues and exploring ways to strengthen cooperation between their countries.

Both sides emphasized the positive progress made in implementing agreements under the framework of the comprehensive partnership between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

President Japarov congratulated President Lee Jae Myung on his recent election victory and extended an invitation for an official visit to Kyrgyzstan. In turn, President Lee Jae Myung invited President Japarov to participate in the South Korea-Central Asia Summit, scheduled for 2026.
