Kyrgyz President Receives Ceremonial Welcome in Cairo

An official welcoming ceremony for President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has taken place at the Al-Ittihadiya Presidential Palace in Cairo.

After exchanging greetings, the national anthems of both countries were performed by a military orchestra, followed by a ceremonial review of the honor guard, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The heads of state then introduced members of their official delegations and took part in a traditional photo session.

Following the formal ceremony, Presidents Japarov and Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi proceeded to the hall for bilateral talks focused on strengthening cooperation and expanding ties between Kyrgyzstan and Egypt.
