Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has inaugurated the new Bulak Sports and Fitness Complex in Osh during a ceremony, underlining the government’s commitment to expanding athletic infrastructure and promoting wellness across the country.
During his tour, Japarov explored the facility’s cutting‑edge amenities, including an Olympic‑size swimming pool, where local athletes staged a demonstration swim, a state‑of‑the‑art fitness center, and dedicated recreational and recovery zones designed to support elite and community use alike, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The Bulak complex was developed via a public-private partnership. Construction began in July 2024, and the project’s total cost reached 202 million soms. The new facility is expected to serve as a regional hub for sports development, boosting opportunities for athletes and citizens in southern Kyrgyzstan.
