Kyrgyzstan Among Fastest-Growing Economies with 11.5% GDP Rise in Early 2025

Kyrgyzstan’s GDP reached 865.2 billion soms ($9.901 billion) in the first seven months of 2025, representing an 11.5 per cent increase compared to January-July 2024.

The committee noted a slight acceleration in economic growth, as GDP growth for the first six months of 2025 stood at 11.4 per cent, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Kyrgyzstan continues to rank among the fastest-growing economies in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and globally.

Industrial production rose to 374.6 billion soms ($4.287 billion), up 11.33 per cent from the same period last year. The GDP growth was fueled by commodity-producing sectors, services, and net product taxes.

In terms of GDP structure, services accounted for 51.1 per cent, goods-producing industries 32.8 per cent, and product taxes 16.1 per cent. The annual consumer price index (CPI) reached 8.8 per cent.
