Spokesman for Central Asia and Mongolia at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Anton Usov has said that Kyrgyz Finance Minister Almaz Baketaev and EBRD Vice President for Banking Matteo Patrone signed a memorandum of understanding.
The MoU paves the way for a framework agreement to support priority municipal projects in infrastructure, irrigation, and transport, with a total investment of up to 400 million euros, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
“This agreement is expected to promote sustainable infrastructure development across the country and optimize related EBRD investments,” Usov noted.
