Kyrgyzstan is strengthening its engagement with the European Union on key consular and migration issues.
Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu, has met with Remi Duflot, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to Kyrgyz-European consular cooperation. Key topics included the development of dialogue on visa policy, protection of the rights and interests of citizens, and the exchange of experience in digitalisation and the use of modern tools for migration management.
Both parties underscored the importance of maintaining regular contacts and expressed readiness to further strengthen European Union-Kyrgyzstan partnership, particularly in areas linked to mobility, consular services, and administrative modernisation.
