According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, no Kyrgyz citizens have been injured during the ongoing protests in Iran.
In light of the situation, Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Ministry recommends that its citizens temporarily avoid traveling to Iran unless absolutely necessary, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar.
Kyrgyz citizens currently in Iran are advised to:
Exercise heightened vigilance and caution;
Avoid crowded areas, demonstrations, and protests;
Follow instructions from local authorities and law enforcement;
Carry identification and the contact details of the Kyrgyz Embassy;
Stay updated on official announcements from local authorities and diplomatic missions.
The ministry is closely monitoring developments and will promptly inform citizens of any changes.
