The Kyrgyz Ministry of Transport and Communications has completed procedures to join the TRACECA multilateral transport permit system.
The TRACECA permit allows carriers to transport goods across all member countries without obtaining separate bilateral permits. Designed for single use, it enables one round-trip with up to two entries per country, The Caspian Post reports via the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
This universal permit covers bilateral, transit, and third-country routes, giving Kyrgyz carriers new opportunities to move goods to Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine under a single document.
The ministry highlighted that TRACECA membership will streamline logistics, reduce transport costs, and improve the competitiveness of Kyrgyz exports to Europe, Türkiye, and the Black Sea region.
