President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has warmly received newly appointed Pakistani Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador, Altamash Wazir Khan, at a formal credential presentation ceremony, where both leaders emphasized expanding cooperation in key areas such as trade, energy, industry, healthcare, and joint investment projects.
President Japarov congratulated Ambassador Khan on the commencement of his diplomatic mission and wished him success in fostering relations between the two countries, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
During the meeting, the Kyrgyz leader emphasized Pakistan’s strategic role in regional and international affairs, expressing Kyrgyzstan’s keen interest in expanding cooperation through both bilateral and multilateral channels.
President Japarov also underscored the importance of utilizing the transport and transit potential of both nations, describing it as crucial for enhancing regional connectivity and economic development.
Additionally, the president expressed a strong commitment to advancing cooperation in education, recognizing its significance in nurturing people-to-people connections and mutual understanding.
In response, Ambassador Khan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and praised the existing strong friendship between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. He voiced confidence that bilateral relations would gain renewed momentum through the concerted efforts of both governments.
The meeting concluded with both leaders reaffirming their dedication to deepening collaboration at bilateral and multilateral levels and working together to promote peace, stability, and sustainable development across the region.
