Kyrgyzstan has put forward a proposal for the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member states to approve a comprehensive roadmap aimed at enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and finance.
Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev announced the initiative during a high-level meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of the Organization of Turkic States in Bishkek, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
“For a more systematic development of our economic collaboration, Kyrgyzstan has proposed a draft roadmap for cooperation in trade, investment, and finance,” Kasymaliev stated, urging member countries to support the initiative and approve the roadmap promptly for joint implementation.
The prime minister also emphasized the pivotal role of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the OTS Trade Facilitation Committee, noting their capacity to remove trade barriers, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and boost regional economic activity.
