Kyrgyzstan-Qatar Talks Focus on Investment and Cooperation

Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers, Bakyt Torobaev, has met with Ali Jaber Al Marri, Qatar’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.

The officials reviewed the Kyrgyzstan-Qatar agenda across multiple areas of partnership, emphasizing the importance of holding the second session of the Kyrgyz-Qatari Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation in Bishkek in 2026, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Plans for future high-level visits were also highlighted.

Torobaev assured Qatari investors of full support in implementing mutually beneficial projects in Kyrgyzstan, while Ambassador Al Marri reaffirmed his country’s commitment to previously agreed initiatives and expressed interest in expanding multilateral cooperation.
