Kyrgyzstan Sends Humanitarian Aid to Iran

Kyrgyzstan has dispatched a major humanitarian shipment to Iran, delivering essential supplies as part of a government-led relief effort.

The initiative was carried out on the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov, with the country’s emergency services and foreign ministry coordinating the operation, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The total shipment weighs 129 tons and includes:

66 tons of food supplies - flour, canned meat, and vegetable oil

63 tons of medical aid

The cargo has been loaded onto a convoy of seven heavy-duty trucks operated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The aid will be officially handed over to the Iranian side with the participation of Akylbek Kylychev, Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador in Tehran.
