Kyrgyzstan is set to take a bold step in boosting its tourism appeal with plans to develop a Disneyland-style theme park in partnership with internationally renowned entertainment design firm IDEATTACK, Inc.
The fantasy-themed park, to be built near the city of Tokmok in the Chui Region, will feature attractions inspired by the Manas Epic and the Great Silk Road, blending cultural heritage with world-class entertainment, The Caspian Post reports per Kazakh media.
A memorandum of cooperation has been officially signed between IDEATTACK, the Kyrgyz Tourism Development Support Fund, and the Chui Region Administration, representing a key milestone in the country’s strategy to boost its tourism sector.
The park will occupy a 50-hectare site near the city of Tokmok and will feature immersive experiences inspired by the Manas Epic, the Great Silk Road, and a wide array of live shows, dance performances, and theatrical productions. The project aims to blend entertainment with cultural heritage, offering a distinctive destination for both local and international tourists.
Discussions surrounding the project have been ongoing since 2024, and the initiative reflects Kyrgyzstan’s broader efforts to modernize its tourism infrastructure while preserving its cultural identity.
The theme park project follows recent news of Kemin, an eco-friendly city planned in the same region, further demonstrating Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to sustainable tourism and development.
