President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, has awarded the Friendship Medal to Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador Aibek Artykbaev.
The state honor recognizes Artykbaev’s contribution to advancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Kyrgyz Republic, with particular emphasis on strengthening friendship and people-to-people ties, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Commenting on the award, Artykbaev said he would continue to do everything possible to further expand and deepen relations and partnership between the two countries.
On January 21, Artykbaev was relieved of his duties as Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador to Mongolia. Aibek Moldogaziev has been appointed as the new official representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in Mongolia, marking the next chapter in diplomatic engagement between Bishkek and Ulaanbaatar.
