Türkiye has risen to become one of the top three largest investors in Kyrgyzstan, as Turkish investment in the country nearly doubled in the first nine months of last year.
Between January and September 2025, Turkish investment reached $139.5 million, up from $71.3 million in the same period of 2024-an increase of 95.5 percent. The sharp growth pushed Türkiye into third place among Kyrgyzstan’s foreign investors, trailing only China and Russia, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Overall, the Kyrgyz Republic attracted $885 million in foreign direct investment during the first nine months of last year. This represents an 18.4 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024, underscoring a broader upward trend in foreign capital inflows.
The surge in Turkish investment highlights strengthening economic ties between Ankara and Bishkek and reinforces Kyrgyzstan’s growing appeal as an investment destination in Central Asia.
