Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has met with Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda to discuss long-term cooperation and the rollout of major projects across Kyrgyzstan’s key economic sectors.
At the meeting, Japarov highlighted the country’s steady socio-economic growth and its efforts to create favorable conditions for large-scale infrastructure development, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
He underscored priority areas for partnership with the ADB, including transport - particularly projects that could help Kyrgyzstan become a “regional hub” - as well as energy and agriculture.
Kanda reaffirmed the bank’s readiness to support initiatives in green energy, agriculture, tourism, and transport infrastructure. He expressed confidence that successful implementation of these projects and strengthened cooperation with Kyrgyzstan will help raise the living standards of its citizens.
