President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has visited the “Tunduk Beton” plant in the village of Bayet, Issyk-Kul Region, underscoring the government's commitment to accelerating nationwide housing development.
The modern facility specializes in the production of inert construction materials, ready-mix concrete, and modular reinforced concrete structures, The Caspian Post reports per Kyrgyz media.
Outfitted with advanced machinery and a fully automated production management system, the plant represents a significant step forward in boosting the country’s construction sector.
The crushing complex at “Tunduk Beton” is capable of processing up to 1,000 tons per shift, while the plant can produce up to 120 cubic meters of ready-mix concrete per hour. Currently employing 60 workers, the company aims to expand its workforce to 150 as operations scale up.
With total investments reaching $4.5 million, the project is a major contributor to the region’s industrial growth. Founder Bakyt Aidarov emphasized the speed advantages of using modular reinforced concrete, citing a 400-square-meter district urban planning office in Cholpon-Ata that is expected to be completed in just 10 days.
President Japarov highlighted the strategic importance of leveraging the plant’s capacity for national housing programs.
“On August 8, 450 families in Karakol will receive the keys to their new apartments,” he said. “We must use every available resource to accelerate the pace of construction across the country.”
He also announced that a new residential complex is under development in Cholpon-Ata on the site of the former airport, led by the State Mortgage Company - another move aligned with Kyrgyzstan’s broader housing agenda.
