Remittances to Kyrgyzstan reached $279.5 million in July 2026.

The figure marked a decline from the local high recorded in June, when remittance inflows reached $292.1 million, according to 24.kg.

Outflows from Kyrgyzstan also decreased, falling to $24.4 million in July from $35.5 million a month earlier.

CIS countries accounted for the vast majority of incoming transfers, providing $262.1 million in July.

Russia remained by far the largest source, with $253.9 million transferred to Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan accounted for another $5.5 million, while other CIS countries contributed $2.6 million.

From countries outside the CIS, Kyrgyzstan received $17.4 million.

The US led this group with $12.1 million, followed by Türkiye with $0.9 million. South Korea contributed $0.1 million, while other non-CIS countries accounted for $4.4 million.

The structure of outgoing transfers remained heavily concentrated in the CIS.

Kyrgyzstan sent $21.8 million to CIS countries in July, including $21.6 million to Russia.

Another $2.6 million was transferred to countries outside the CIS, with $1.8 million going to Türkiye.

The resulting net inflow stood at $255.1 million in July.

Including $1.5395 billion received during the first six months of 2026, total remittances to Kyrgyzstan exceeded $1.8 billion in the first seven months of the year.
