The Russian State Duma has officially ratified the protocol to the cooperation agreement between Russia and Kyrgyzstan on the supply of oil and oil products.
The protocol, originally signed in St. Petersburg on December 20, 2024, is designed to maintain current customs administration standards, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Under the agreement, temporary periodic customs declarations for pipeline exports of oil and oil products will continue to be used. This temporary arrangement, effective from December 31, 2024, ensures that shipments from Russia to Kyrgyzstan from January 1, 2025, are documented in accordance with indicative balances.
