World Leaders Attend Beijing Parade Showcasing China’s Newest Defense Technologies

World leaders gathered in Beijing as China held a spectacular military parade. Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov witnessed the display of the People’s Liberation Army’s latest defense technologies, including cutting-edge missile systems, advanced drones, and next-generation counter-drone capabilities.

A grand military parade was held on Tiananmen Square in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and China’s victory over militarist Japan, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

The parade highlighted the most advanced weaponry of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA). Key exhibits included anti-aircraft and anti-ship systems, with a special focus on the new LY-1 laser naval air defense system. Advanced counter-drone capabilities were also demonstrated, featuring anti-drone missiles, artillery installations, and electronic warfare complexes.

Additionally, the parade showcased combat and reconnaissance drones, Dongfeng-17 medium-range ballistic missiles, and the latest intercontinental ballistic missiles, Dongfeng-5C, underscoring China’s state-of-the-art military technology and strategic strength.
