“Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have established strategic partnerships and alliances in recent years, with collaboration extending to parliamentary relations,” stated Orzigul Kozikhonova, Chair of the Committee on Youth, Culture, and Sports of Uzbekistan's Oliy Majlis, during the international parliamentary conference on "Parliamentarism: Traditions and Perspectives" in Baku, The Caspian Post reports citing Azertac.

She emphasized the growing commercial, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations and underscored the significance of cooperation between their parliaments within international organizations. Kozikhonova highlighted the vital role of friendship groups in deepening relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
