Tokayev Congratulates Zhaparov, Hails Strong Cooperation

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to discuss the strong and growing bilateral cooperation between their countries.

The leaders reviewed the progress of agreements made at the highest level, including those reached during Tokayev's official visit to Kyrgyzstan on August 21-22, 2025, The Caspian Post reports, citing Akorda.

During the conversation, President Tokayev extended his warm birthday congratulations to President Zhaparov, wishing him continued success in his state duties for the benefit of the Kyrgyz people.

Tokayev also praised Zhaparov for his significant personal contribution to the expansion of multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support that define their relationship.
