Ukraine in Focus as Trump, Zelenskyy Prepare for Key Talks on August 18

As global attention remains fixed on efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine, US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are set to meet in Washington on August 18 for high-stakes discussions.

On his return from Anchorage, President Trump held a phone conversation with President Zelenskyy, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

Zelenskyy later shared via his Telegram channel that he had proposed organizing a trilateral summit involving Ukraine, the US, and Russia.
