Two women have been shot dead inside a café in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, Russia.

The shooting was reportedly linked to personal animosity. One of the women died at the scene, while the second succumbed to her injuries in hospital, according to RIA Novosti.

The suspected shooter was detained by police officers.
