Death Toll on Turkish-Owned Cargo Ship Rises to 10 After Russian Strike

The death toll from the Russian missile strike on the Turkish-owned civilian cargo ship GOLDEN LEO has risen to 10, after the bodies of four missing sailors were recovered.

Ukrainian authorities said the vessel was struck by three Russian missiles on July 19 while carrying a grain cargo, The Caspian Post reports via UNIAN.

The prosecutor's office said the victims include nine foreign crew members and a 66-year-old Ukrainian harbor pilot. The deceased foreign sailors were between 19 and 53 years old.

Seven people were injured in the attack.
