Ukrainian drones struck targets in Russia's Kursk region, damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure and leaving several people injured.

Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein said the town of Lgov came under attack, with drones hitting a bus, a grocery store, and a bus stop. Two people were injured, including the bus driver and a man near the store, who both received first aid, The Caspian Post reports via RBC.

According to the governor, one of the injured is a 40-year-old Belarusian citizen.

The regional capital, Kursk, was also targeted. Preliminary reports indicate that drones struck four apartment buildings, prompting the evacuation of residents. One woman was injured in the attack.

Emergency services remain at the affected sites, while regional authorities have pledged to assist residents whose homes were damaged and carry out repair work.
