Explosions have rattled Russia’s Oryol city and Stavropol after a series of drone attacks.
In Nevinnomyssk, a major chemical plant-one of the country’s biggest producers of nitrogen fertilizers, ammonia, and materials used in explosives-caught fire following the strikes, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
Residents in Oryol reported several loud blasts that shook nearby buildings, with some windows damaged. Videos circulating on social media captured the moments of the explosions, though the intended targets have not been confirmed.
The Nevinnomyssk Azot plant, previously targeted by Ukrainian forces, plays a key role in producing materials that support Russia’s military operations, including ammonia and ammonium nitrate.
As of now, Russian authorities have not issued any official statements regarding the incidents.
