The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) has announced that Russia’s Oryol region officially launched exports of soybean meal to Kyrgyzstan.
The debut shipment - 179 tons - was dispatched on November 24, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The supplier holds all required Rosselkhoznadzor certifications for exporting feed products to EAEU member states, as well as to China and Türkiye. The product’s safety and quality were confirmed through accredited laboratory testing, and the shipment fully met Kyrgyzstan’s veterinary requirements.
Soybean meal is produced from food-grade soybeans after the oil is extracted. It is one of the most protein-rich plant-based feeds available, containing high levels of lysine and other essential amino acids.
With low fiber, high digestibility, and a nutritional profile close to animal-based feeds, soybean meal has become an essential ingredient in compound feeds - especially for poultry, but also for other livestock.
The launch of exports marks a new step in agricultural trade between Russia and Kyrgyzstan and opens the door to expanded cooperation in the feed and livestock sectors.
