Fuel Depot Catches Fire After Drone Debris Falls in Russia’s Rostov - VIDEO

A fuel storage facility in Russia’s Rostov Region caught fire after fragments from a drone fell on the site during an aerial attack.

Rostov governor Yury Slyusar said that the blaze broke out at a private fuel depot that supplies agricultural producers in the Matveevo-Kurgansky District, The Caspian Post reports via TASS.

He attributed the incident to falling debris from a Ukrainian drone intercepted during the attack.

In addition to the fire, local infrastructure sustained damage in the settlement of Matveevo-Kurgan. A pharmacy, two retail stores, a vehicle and a gas pipeline were affected by the drone strike.

Emergency services responded to the scene, while officials continued assessing the extent of the damage. No immediate reports of casualties were released.
