Iran and Armenia concluded a two-day joint military exercise along their shared border on Thursday.
The drill, conducted on both sides of the border, was aimed at strengthening security and ensuring sustainable peace along the common border, according to the IRNA and the Armenian Defense Ministry, The Caspian Post reports.
The exercise involved operational units from the Ground Forces of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps and the Armenian army. It featured the use of light and heavy weapons, special forces snipers, and explosives, said the IRNA.
