Massive Drone Attack on Ukraine's Kharkiv Injures 36, Including Children

Russian forces launched a major strike on Ukraine's Kharkiv using Geran-2 kamikaze drones, causing widespread destruction across the city.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Police, 36 people were injured, including two children. Both were treated for acute stress reactions, The Caspian Post informs via Ukrainian media.

The drones hit the Slobidskyi and Osnovianskyi districts around midnight, damaging more than 10 apartment buildings, as well as civilian businesses, garages, an ambulance substation, a supermarket, a gym, a shop, a school, public transport, and dozens of cars.

Emergency crews, police, and medical teams are working at the impact sites. Authorities have set up an operational headquarters where residents can report damaged or destroyed property.

Ukrainian investigators have opened a case under Article 438 of the Criminal Code - violation of the laws and customs of war.
