Mayor of Ukraine's Kharkiv city Ihor Terekhov has confirmed that Russia launched multiple missiles at critical infrastructure in Kharkiv.
The strikes damaged a facility providing power and heat, while debris from a Russian drone was found in the Novobavarskyi district, though no injuries were reported, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
Kharkiv has faced repeated attacks in recent days, including drone strikes, missiles, and multiple-launch rocket systems. Over the weekend, two hits were recorded on January 17, and a daytime strike targeted another energy system. Earlier this week, drone attacks damaged a children’s sanatorium, injuring a minor, while shelling in the outskirts left two people dead and several wounded, with footage showing a destroyed Nova Poshta postal terminal.
