Russian Strike Hits Ukraine's Kharkiv Critical Infrastructure

Russian forces have targeted a critical infrastructure facility in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Igor Terekhov, head of the city’s military administration, wrote on Telegram that a 62-year-old man was injured in the strike, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

“The damage is significant - this isn’t a case of ‘fix a little and move on.’ These are serious hits to the systems that provide the city with heat and electricity. With each attack, centralized heating and electricity supply becomes increasingly difficult. Energy reserves are limited, demand is at peak, and any new damage immediately undermines stabilization efforts,” Terekhov said.

Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, added that three people were injured in the attack. Local media reported that at least seven ballistic missiles struck the city, causing a large fire and sending a thick column of smoke over Kharkiv.
