Russian forces have targeted an energy facility in Ukraine’s Odesa region, sparking a fire and causing property damage.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed that there were no casualties and that emergency services are actively responding. The strike damaged a building and several vehicles, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

The State Emergency Service deployed 10 units of equipment and more than 30 rescuers to extinguish the fire and mitigate the damage. Officials emphasized that critical infrastructure and essential services remain operational.
The attack comes amid a wave of Russian drone strikes across Ukraine, with 115 launched drones and 96 intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses. Other regions, including Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv, were also targeted, while an explosion of unknown origin occurred in a high-rise building in Kharkiv.
