Petronas Moves UAE Staff Amid Middle East Tensions

Petronas, Malaysia’s state-owned energy giant, has announced that it is temporarily relocating staff from its Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices as part of business continuity protocols amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

The company emphasized that all UAE operations continue under alternative arrangements, while activities outside the UAE in the region are proceeding as usual, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

Petronas is one of the world’s largest energy producers and a key supplier of natural gas to major Asian markets, including Japan and China.

Officials said the temporary relocation is a precautionary measure to ensure safety of employees while maintaining uninterrupted energy supplies to global markets.
