Putin Signs Off on Dismissal of Transport Minister Starovoit

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Roman Starovoit from his position as Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.

The brief statement in the presidential decree reads: “Relieve Roman Vladimirovich Starovoit of his position as Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation”, The Caspian Post reports, via an official decree published on the government’s legal information website.

Starovoit had been appointed to head the Ministry of Transport in May 2024, following a period of service as Governor of the Kursk Region.
