Russia has received a seaborne shipment of around 30,000 tons of AI-92 gasoline from Morocco.

A Panama-flagged tanker loaded the fuel at Morocco’s Tangier port in mid-July and is currently unloading the shipment at the Russian port of Murmansk, Reuters reports.

The fuel was reportedly supplied by Lukoil.

Morocco has become the third country from which Russia has imported gasoline following Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries.

Earlier, the first shipment of gasoline from India arrived at Vitino port in Russia’s Murmansk Region. In addition, around 10,000 tons of fuel was shipped to Russia by Kazakhstan’s Condensate refinery.

Kazakhstan has agreed to sell Russia a total of 50,000 tons of fuel as part of humanitarian assistance.
